New Features at WilsonWeb.com

Web Marketing Today, Issue 58, July 1, 1999

For the past month and a half we've been working hard to offer you some powerful new features to make it easier for you to use our Wilson Internet site:

  • An entire site redesign, designed to make our extensive resources more visible and navigation more intuitive. The changes involve nearly 500 webpages.
  • Our 4,700 article Web Marketing Info Center and E-Commerce Research Room resources are now available to you as a searchable database (http://wilsonweb.com/cgi-bin/search.cgi) that allows searches by keyword and topic. We made a huge 120-hour time investment to search out dead URLs and re-find the articles and resources that pointed to. URLs are constantly changing, but it's pretty clean! This is the largest focused resource of its kind on the Web. The 2,200+ Web Marketing article info and links are free, and we give you a peek at the 2,200+ E-Commerce article links so you can see what's there. (Full access to the e-commerce articles requires a $49.95 annual subscription.) If you know of an important article or resource, please bring it to our attention at http://www.wilsonweb.com/search/addurl.htm
  • Our Affiliate Program Search Box (http://www.wilsonweb.com/affiliate/searchbox.htm) now allows you to place your articles search box on your own site. It opens a new browser window so your visitors don't leave permanently. AND, when your visitors sign up for a Web Commerce Today subscription ($49.95) you earn $5.99 (12%) yourself. If you have a marketing, e-commerce, or small business site, this could be a huge feature you can incorporate to add value to your site -- and earn a little money.
  • The Web Marketing & E-Commerce Forum (http://wilsonweb.com/forum/) is brand new, as well, to coincide with this issue's focus on Building Communities. It's a place for learning and discussion with your peers. Why don't you begin a discussion "thread" on a topic of interest to you? We've used the Ultimate Bulletin Board (http://wilsonweb.com/reviews/ultimate.htm) to build this, reviewed in this issue. To keep the Forum from being plastered with blatant ads, we're inviting moderators to monitor each of our 15 forum sections. If you see a section you'd like to moderate, please e-mail me and tell me why you'd be good at it. There's no pay, but you'll have the satisfaction of giving back to others something of what you've received.

Come visit our redecorated home on the Web. The welcome mat is out for you.
