Issue 66, January 15, 2003

Dr. Ralph F. Wilson, E-Commerce Consultant Dear Friends,

In this issue we focus on selling your e-book or other digital content. Here are the articles:

  • Shopping Carts that Support E-Book and Digital Download Sales
  • Digital Download Tools for ClickBank and PayPal Merchants
  • Internet Marketplaces Where You Can Sell Your E-Book
In the February and March issues of our sister publication Web Marketing Today we're examining related themes of Marketing an E-Book. I hope these articles help you take close aim at selling digital content -- and helping it add to your bottom line. If you'd like to read the WMT issues on Marketing an E-Book, you can find them below -- plus a special pre-publication link for my paid subscribers: I hope to see you this spring when the Doctor Ebiz Internet Marketing Seminar comes to a city near you -- Chicago, Houston, LA, Toronto, Philly, Atlanta, and Orlando. http://www.wilsonweb.com/seminar/

God bless you,
Dr. Ralph F. Wilson, Editor

Shopping Carts that Support E-Book and Digital Download Sales

In the last couple of years, most -- but not all -- popular shopping cart programs now offer you the ability to sell e-books and digital downloads. Digital Download Tools for ClickBank and PayPal Merchants

Many SOHO e-book authors sell through ClickBank and PayPal because of their low start-up costs, and ClickBank's affiliate program. However, both ClickBank and PayPal have some holes in their systems that could lose you serious dollars. Here are a few comments on ClickBank and PayPal, and some third-party programs that plug the holes and make it easier for merchants. Internet Marketplaces Where You Can Sell Your E-Book

Here are some of my notes and observations after hours of research for alternate e-book sales locations. Read the Article. http://www.wilsonweb.com/wct6/ebook_marketplaces.cfm
